New Show Announced – January 18th at Club Garibaldi
November 19th, 2013
We’ll be playing our first back-to-back show weekend in mid January with this newly booked show. We’ve played with both Ultrea and Red and the Wolf before and think very highly of them both. This should be a great show!

Recording!!!
November 17th, 2013
After a good run of shows this last summer through fall, we’re going to hunker down for the next month and work on some new recordings! So far, we have 3 demo tunes available on the music page, but we’re hoping to re-record these three and at least five more. (more…)

Getting into the Groove
October 14th, 2013
Else is really settling in as a band, and it feels great. It’s not yet even been 9 months since we found our lineup, and we’ve already played 7 great shows plus a few small acoustic sets for friends. We have two more shows on the books (November 7th with Tigernite at the Up and Under and Dec 7th at Club Giribaldi), and are working on setting up 2014 shows.
As far as the music itself goes, we have an hour’s worth of original material and are working on more now. (more…)

A New Look
September 9th, 2013
Over this last weekend we redesigned our logo and website. The new look is sleeker, darker, more modern, and better suits the bands cutting-edge, digital, and heavy sound. This was the first step in our overall rebranding effort which will soon include business cards, a banner, and some better CD prints. We hope to see you at our next show, October 4th in Kenosha (at Finney’s Lounge), so you can see our improved new look!

More Shows!
August 24th, 2013
We’ve had 3 fantastic shows in the last two weeks and have met a ton of great bands and fans. It was a ton of fun finally playing at the legendary Blue Pig on August 10th, I still can’t believe we got to share a show with Encryptor on August 16th, and we had our first Madison show just this last Wednesday the 21st. Highlights of those shows were definitely the bands Encryptor, Ultrea, and Red the Wolf, who we hope to play with again.
So, after 3 shows in the last 2 weeks, we’re slowing down just a bit, but certainly not stopping. (more…)

Acoustic Sets
July 29th, 2013
Last month Juan and Kent played “Absence of Breath” on a classical guitar for a group of friends and it went over really well. Given that success, we’ve decided to work on a few more acoustic songs. We’re focusing on adding two more originals, “Cemetery Dance” and “Who Will Cry for the Little Boy”, as well as a few more A Perfect Circle covers. The goal is to be able to play a 20-30 minute acoustic set in addition to our full band set.

August Shows
July 29th, 2013
We’ve got two shows booked for August.
First is our headlining set at the Blue Pig on August 10th. Kent has a bluegrass gig earlier that day so he’ll be frantically flying down the freeway to make the set.
The next show is August 16th at the Down and Over. We set this show up with Ultrea, Lying Still, and Encryptor, and are really hoping it’s a huge success. Metal party!!!

One Show Down, Many More To Come
July 21st, 2013
We had a great time at Whammy Bar last night and really enjoyed our opening act, Fadeback. It was great to finally play a full set, playing all of our songs, some of them for the first time.
With that show behind us, we now have 3 upcoming shows in July/August. You can always check out calendar for more details, and we hope to see you July 27th in Madison, August 10th at the Blue Pig, and August 16th and the Down and Over.
